Biomorphic Abstraction and Primal Narratives.

Cristina Link is an abstract artist whose work explores the intersection of personal memory and the intuitive subconscious. Born in Guatemala and raised in New Jersey, Link draws upon her complex background to examine themes of identity, resilience, and the "inner landscape" of the human psyche.

Holding both a BFA and a Masters in Art Education, Link’s practice is grounded in a deep understanding of color theory and composition, which she subverts through a raw, intuitive process. Her paintings often feature biomorphic forms and primal archetypes, functioning as a bridge between the physical world and an untamed emotional reality. By rejecting perfectionism in favor of bold, gestural expression, Link challenges the viewer to confront their own internal narratives. Her work is held in private collections throughout the northeast and midwest. Her work has been exhibited in New Jersey.

Abstract painting with vibrant colors including black, orange, pink, yellow, blue, and purple. It features various shapes and patterns such as circles, spirals, and irregular lines, with layered textures and brushstrokes.
